Religious and Moral Education in the Curriculum<\/a><\/p>\n

Religious and Moral Education<\/strong> provides pupils with the opportunity to explore values and beliefs from around the world. By exploring the world\u2019s major religions, pupils are introduced to the diversity of beliefs and life experiences that exist around the world and in our own country. Through developing an awareness and an appreciation of the value of each individual in a diverse society, religious and moral education engenders responsible attitudes towards other people. The value of learning about religion, and from religion, is that pupils develop an understanding of diversity in our society and their own roles in it.<\/p>\n
