The most common symptoms are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>new, continuous cough<\/li>\n<li>fever\/high temperature (37.8C or greater)<\/li>\n<li>loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If your child has symptoms, they should not attend school and you should book them a test straightaway. They should remain at home and everyone in the household should self-isolate until they receive their test results.
