{"id":424,"date":"2021-01-03T10:07:35","date_gmt":"2021-01-03T10:07:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/johnstonehighschoolmusicdepartment\/?page_id=424"},"modified":"2021-01-03T12:03:37","modified_gmt":"2021-01-03T12:03:37","slug":"jhightv","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/johnstonehighschoolmusicdepartment\/jhightv\/","title":{"rendered":"JHighTV"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center\">New to J High in 2021<\/h1>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/png.clipart.me\/image_preview\/8d9\/lcd-tv-vector-4187.jpg\" alt=\"Free Flatscreen TV Clipart in AI, SVG, EPS or PSD\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000080\">JHighTV<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080\">What is JHighTV?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>We are launching a new extracurricular club which will bring a team of pupils and staff together to create regular television style content which will then be broadcast to the Johnstone High School Community.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><span style=\"color: #000080\">What will this content look like?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\">Programmes will feature a range of content including interviews, news bulletins, performances, competitions and adverts.\u00a0 They will be as long or as short as the team decide and will be broadcast on a regular basis via a YouTube Channel.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080\">How can you get involved?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>At the moment, this will be an online project, but when we get back to more &#8220;normal&#8221; school life, meetings will take place online and in person. The team will get together to plan programmes and decide who will take on which job. You can apply for a particular role within the team and these roles are all <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/johnstonehighschoolmusicdepartment\/jhightv-roles\/\">explained here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><span style=\"color: #000080\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sortoffilms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/location-shoot.jpg\" alt=\"Looking for Work Experience? - Sort of...Films\" width=\"211\" height=\"141\" \/>Developing Skills<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\">It takes a range of skills to put together programmes like this. Roles like Producer require excellent leadership skills. An Editor must have a good knowledge of particular software. Script writers and composers require a high level of creativity. Presenters need to be confident and able to think on their feet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\">Whatever role you take on, this project will give you an opportunity to develop the skills you need for your chosen career.
