We have been going crazy because we have apples growing on one of our trees. Right now they are small and look a bit like grapes but they are starting to get bigger. There are about 50 apples.

Primary 4 visited Krispy Kreme and learned how they make the doughnuts in their shops. We even got to glaze our own chocolate doughnuts though the best bit was eating them.
Primary 3 learnt all about the different jobs people do at Braehead Shopping Centre. We even got a look behind the scenes.
Ask the Primary 3s to tell you all about it!
We began our World of Work week. They told us all about the different jobs they do such as cutting people out of cars, rescuing horses as well as putting out fires. We learnt about all the training they do to keep their skills up.
Today for Golden Time lots of us chose to carry on our learning…
Learning about French food
Numeracy
Spelling
Next week is our World of Work Week. We are looking forward to having lots of visitors and learning about people’s jobs.

Primary 4s will be visiting Krispy Kreme on Wednesday morning and will also return to school for lunch at 12.30.
School dinners will be available on both days for these groups or they may bring a packed lunch.
We were amazed when we came back from our Easter holiday and saw our apple trees. Our trees had changed and there were leaves on them.
We were a bit worried that one of our Katie trees had hardly grown. When we looked about we decided that there was a lack of sunlight and water because of the big trees hanging over. Because of this we decided to move the tree.
Our biggest surprise was that the James Greave tree has started to grow flowers. However we probably won’t get apples this year because we need 2 trees to flower so the bees can pollinate them.
Now that spring is in the air our apple trees are beginning to change and grow. The James Greave Tree has grown the most while one of our Katie trees has hardly changed.
We love our library and enjoy choosing books during golden time.
On Friday we had our class assembly. We told everyone about our apple trees. Some of us were nervous but we kept going and gave a fantastic performance. Our families were very proud.
