Primary 1 had a blast creating these colourful fireworks pictures to celebrate Bonfire Night.

As it’s almost Halloween, during Golden Time this week Primary 1 did some ‘Dooking’ for apples. 🍏🍎
We cheated and used a fork so no wet faces. 🙂
Primary 1 have been learning all about 3D shape.
Sorting everyday 3D shapes.
Printing with 3D shapes.
Making cubes and cuboids with straws and playdoh.
Building with 3D shapes.
Next we we like to do some junk modelling so if would be great if the children could bring in any materials from home to help with this – finished cereal boxes, yoghurt pots, kitchen rolls etc 🙂.

In Science Primary 1 have been learning all about ‘Our Bodies’ and also the ‘5 Senses’ – see, hear, touch, smell, taste.
The children have been finding out about their school. They have been walking around investigating who works in the school, their role and where they work.
As it is taking a while for the children to get changed for gym,the children will be allowed to stay in the polo shirt that they come to school in, until further notice.
