P1 are finding out about how people help us. We are starting with our school. The children walked around the school finding out which adults worked in the school, where they were based and what they did.
They managed to cut and stick the correct person next to the picture of what they do in school.
The children also made a video of themselves where they asked one of the adult’s a question, which they replied back using the ipad too.
The children in P1 have been looking at signs that Autumn is here. They copied the different coloured leaves when painting pictures of their own Autumn trees, applying the paint with their finger. The children have been collecting seeds and leaves for the Autumn topic table too.
P1 have been learning how to use scissors to carefully cut along a straight line. They have been practising turning the paper as they cut. They have done a brilliant job of cutting out the robot shape without any help.

The children have been finding out about their school. They have been walking around investigating who works in the school, their role and where they work.
As it is taking a while for the children to get changed for gym,the children will be allowed to stay in the polo shirt that they come to school in, until further notice.
