Primary 1 have been doing some sorting as part of their Maths lessons. Working in pairs, they were given a selection of different things and asked to sort them however they wanted. There was lots of different sorting happening around the classroom. Some children chose to sort an item by colour whereas others decided to sort the same item by size, shape or pattern. It was super to see so many busy children working hard along side their partner – Postman Pat might be interested in hiring some of them for his sorting office!
