The minister\/priest assists with the Christianity element of Religious and Moral Education and provides opportunities for religious observance.\u00a0 Parents have the right to withdraw their child from religious observance and should inform the school in writing.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, parents from religions other than Christianity may request that their children be permitted to be absent from school to celebrate recognised religious events. Only written requests detailing the proposed arrangements will be considered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RME<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Religious and Moral Education enable children to explore the world\u2019s major religions and views which are independent of religious belief and to consider the challenges posed by these beliefs and values.
