Some points to note if you have created a Team and made a pupil an owner.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">Students can be added as a co-organiser if they are already an invitee to the\u00a0meeting.\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n<li data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">Students cannot edit the meeting invite itself. All options are unavailable other than Meeting\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">options at the bottom of the invitation. If the student has been added as a co-owner the meeting\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">options will open, if they have not been or have been\u00a0removed\u00a0they will receive an error page\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">when trying to\u00a0open.\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n<li data-aria-posinset=\"3\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">If a student is a\u00a0co-organiser\u00a0they can admit anonymous and\/or external users to the meeting,\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">increasing possibility to have a student and external attendee\u00a0alone.\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n<li data-aria-posinset=\"4\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">If a student is a co-organiser they can open and admit other students to the meeting without the\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">supervision of the meeting organiser resulting in unsupervised learner to learner\u00a0interaction.\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n<li data-aria-posinset=\"5\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">If a student is a\u00a0co-organiser\u00a0they can change the bypass lobby settings for the meeting\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">eg<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">Change from organiser and co-organiser to Everyone. This would enable any invitees to enter the\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">meeting, bypassing the\u00a0lobby.\u00a0 \u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n<li data-aria-posinset=\"6\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">A student that is an existing co-organiser can add another co-organiser to the list however they\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">cannot invite new attendees to the meeting via the invite and therefore the individual would\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">already have to be invited by the\u00a0owner.\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n<li data-aria-posinset=\"7\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">Teachers could create meetings that are attended and managed solely by\u00a0students\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There is now a new feature available in Teams &#8211; Co-Organiser.\u00a0 This is a really helpful feature if you are sharing a class with another teacher and want to organise a meeting together.
