{"id":66,"date":"2020-03-10T13:36:06","date_gmt":"2020-03-10T13:36:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/renbusinesscontinuity\/?page_id=66"},"modified":"2021-03-19T17:17:04","modified_gmt":"2021-03-19T17:17:04","slug":"glow-blogs-overview","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/digilearnren\/glow-blogs-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Overview"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>What are Glow blogs?<\/h1>\n<p>As part of the whole host of new applications available to staff on Glow, we can now create and share online content through Glow blogs:<\/p>\n<p>This is an exciting and flexible tool for schools, Glow Blogs can be set up for external audiences, within Glow generally or for use in a particular Glow Group \u2013 school staff control the level as required.<\/p>\n<p>Why blog?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A blog is an easily up-dated page or set of pages on the web.<\/li>\n<li>It can be updated without any knowledge of html through a web based interface.<\/li>\n<li>Only a web browser is needed<\/li>\n<li>The pages consist in the main of a series of articles, the most recent at the top.<\/li>\n<li>Previous articles are archived and can be searched.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Glow blogs can also be used to create easy to navigate, good looking and functional school websites.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any issues accessing Glow Blogs, please contact csbit@renfrewshire.gov.uk<\/p>\n<p>Already on Glow Blogs, but need a guide to get you started?
