Glow services are free to all students with a Glow login and can be accessed at anytime, anywhere, and on any device.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>A learners Glow account will cease when they leave secondary education. A local authority can apply a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/glowconnect.org.uk\/help-with-glow\/glow-launchpad\/administrative-tasks\/managing-glow-accounts\/\">grace period<\/a>\u00a0to give extra time to access Glow before the account is deleted.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<h3>Benefits of Glow\u00a0for learners<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Office 365<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Glow provides full access to Microsoft\u2019s Office suite including: Mail, Word,\u00a0PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, OneDrive and SharePoint. As well as\u00a0using this service online through Glow,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/glowconnect.org.uk\/help-hub\/microsoft-office-365\/office-365-proplus\/\">learners can download a full version of Office 365 at no cost<\/a>. This can\u00a0develop their skills with Office applications, support their learning outside school\u00a0and use collaborative tools such as Sway to\u00a0create and share interactive presentations demonstrating their learning both inside and outwith Glow.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google for Education Workspace<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0 is a set of cloud-based productivity tools for communication and collaboration. Google for Education Workspace in Glow is a managed service that offers the following core services: Classroom, Drive, Docs, Hangouts, Calendar, Sites and Vaults. These tools can be used to support learning both inside and outwith the classroom and support collaboration between learners.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collaborative working<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Glow is a cloud-based service, meaning learners can work both individually and collaboratively on documents, projects and homework from any connected device.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Anywhere, anytime learning<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Learners can access the resources and features\u00a0of Glow\u00a0using any device at any time.
