\u00a350 winter clothing payment for families<\/i><\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Parents and carers who have received a school clothing grant for this school year (August 2023 to June 2024) will get a \u00a350 winter clothing payment.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The payment will be made in early November directly into bank accounts.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

People who have already applied for a school clothing grant do not need to apply again.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyone who hasn\u2019t applied but is entitled to receive one can <\/i><\/span>apply for a school clothing grant<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> by Friday 20 October to get both payments.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There is help and support available for anyone who needs it.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Parents and carers with a child in secondary school, Mary Russell or Riverbrae schools can <\/i><\/span>make an appointment with the new Schools Support Service<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> run by Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A new family support service for parents and carers with children in primary school or younger is due to launch shortly.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s also help and support available from <\/i><\/span>Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> and our <\/i><\/span>Advice Works<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> team.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
