Just a small reminder of our week 3 of RL Online Olympics. Thank you to the 4 entries last week, you all done so well. To try and make it into the top 10 we need to have at least 10 entries every week!
This week our challenge is how many toe touches can you get on the ball?

I would like to say thank you to the six participants who took part in our first week of our online Olympics.
Overall at Cochrane Castle we managed to do 239 star jumps last week, which is fantastic.
This week our challenge is the standing long jump;

Today is the launch of the new primary school online Olympics !!

Below we have the youtube link which explains to the children/parents exactly what they have to do to enter and also attached is the Cognito form which they use to enter their scores.

A reminder that the pupils should only upload their best one off scores to the cognito link attached before 11.59pm on the 17th May as this link will close at midnight and a new link will be created for the following week activity.

Weekly P.E.

Hi everyone.
From now on I’m going to post on Wednesday afternoons with a list of different activities that you try out whenever it suits. You don’t have to do them all, pick and choose what interests you.
I know we have dancers, gymnasts, footballers etc. remember that you can practise these skills too.
Joe Wicks is still on at 9.00 and you can still have you daily exercise outside with 2m social distancing. Remember to keep drinking in this beautiful sunshine.
I was going to do a separate post for every class but I know how much some of you love a challenge so I thought I’d let you see what other classes are doing. The list starts with the easiest and gets harder as you go down it. Don’t forget to try and send photos πŸ™‚

Good morning everyone. I hope you had a lovely break and that you managed to enjoy some sunshine. I’m missing your happy, smiling faces.
In celebration of Captain Tom Moore who walked 100 times around his garden for his 100th birthday for NHS charities and has raised over Β£26.5 MILLION πŸ™‚
So my challenge for you is walk, run, jog, skip, jump. go up and downstairs or anything you fancy a 100 times today – you don’t need to do it all at the same time, take rests and drink water. Have fun and post a photo if you can.
