Scotland has a rich diversity of languages and dialects and we value and build upon the language that a child brings to school.<\/p>\n<p>The main reading schemes that the school uses are Story World and Literacy World, although there are several other supplementary resources available. There is a structured approach to teaching all aspects of reading and writing including spelling, punctuation and grammar.<\/p>\n<p>Children learn German from P5 to P7 and continue with this language in to secondary school.
