All children in Primary 1-3 are entitled to a free school lunch. For P4-7 our school operates a cash cafeteria system which provides a wide selection of meals and snacks. A price list is given below. Pupils who require a special diet may arrange this with Mrs Janice McIlear, the Kitchen Supervisor. Packed lunch arrangements vary according to each class. Children in P4-7 whose parents receive income support or income based job seekers allowance and in some cases child tax credit, are entitled to a free midday meal. Information and application forms for free school meals may be obtained from schools or from The Area Offices. Milk is available for purchase in the school at morning interval and during the lunch period.
IMPORTANT
May I remind parents that children should not bring nuts to school for their snack or lunch. We have children in classes with nut allergies and we hope to avoid any incidents in relation to nuts. Thank you for your co-operation in this.
