Brediland Primary – update for parents and carers
Renfrewshire Council update
Earlier this month, Renfrewshire Council asked parents and carers to submit their questions on schools and nurseries. Thank you to everyone who took part, there was a phenomenal response with more than 1,000 questions.
Your most-asked questions were put to Steven Quinn, Director of Children’s Services, which you can see at www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/coronavirus-schools. You can also find answers to many more questions there too.
Thank you for your continued patience and support for our school during this difficult time. We hope to see you back in our school as soon as it is safe to do so.
Scottish Government route map
The Scottish Government has set out the route map for schools and nurseries to reopen for children and young people across Scotland. You can read a statement from Director of Children’s Services, Steven Quinn, about the route map on the council’s website.

Focus on Health Week update from Mrs Temple
Letter for Primary 7 from Mrs Temple
Focus on Health Week – 18th – 21st May 2020
Next week, Monday 18th – Thursday 21st May, is our Focus on Health Week for our families. We will take a break from Literacy and Numeracy during this week and focus on our mental and physical health and wellbeing. Hopefully the great weather will return and we can make the most of it whilst topping up our levels of Vitamin D! Please have a look at the booklet today and have a think about what activities you’d like to do next week. We’d love you to share photos and stories of activities that you do, which you can do on the class stream for this week only. You can also share on Twitter @Bredilandschool. If you have any questions throughout the week, your teachers will be online to help. Have fun!
