I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed some of the winter sunshine.<\/p>\n

News and homework for this week…<\/p>\n

P2 Homework<\/strong><\/p>\n

This week due to the short week and talks there will be no formal spelling homework. \u00a0This will resume next week.<\/p>\n

Reading books will be back to fiction and pupils will have one book this week.<\/p>\n

No Maths this week although pupils can practise some of the games noted already in the blog. e.g. Topmarks money games and ICT games.<\/p>\n

Pupils should continue to practise their poem parts and for their class talk.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

P3 Homework<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spelling sound this week is silent w as in wrist and write.<\/p>\n

Reading books will be fiction this week and pupils will be given one book this week.<\/p>\n

No formal maths this week but pupils can practise ICT maths games and Topmarks money games.<\/p>\n

Pupils should continue to practise their poem parts and prepare for their class talks.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This week we are off on Wednesday for St Andrews day and have our school house art day on Friday. \u00a0On Friday pupils can wear their house colours.<\/p>\n

We will also be hearing our class talks. \u00a0Your child has been given a day – Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. \u00a0Your child will receive feedback on the day in the form of 2 stars and a wish. \u00a0I am looking forward to hearing these talks.<\/p>\n

For our class topic we will be completing a robot challenge. \u00a0Pupils will be working in their groups to create a robot out of junk modelling materials and fabrics. \u00a0As such I would be grateful if pupils could bring in some junk. \u00a0For example kitchen roll tubes or small cardboard cereal boxes etc. \u00a0 \u00a0Thank you in advance.<\/p>\n
