Our grammar lesson today\u00a0had us working hard on ensuring our proper nouns started with a capital letter. You had six stations to work round and in one minute had to think of as many\u00a0examples for each category as you could. The categories were: countries, towns and cities in Scotland, bodies of water (and once again, neither Clydebank or Blackpool are\u00a0bodies of water), states in America, music artists and any other types of proper nouns.<\/p>\n
Most of you remembered to include a capital letter at the beginning of your example. Some of you still have a little work to do but we will continue to work hard on this.<\/p>\n
Have a look at the completed sheets at the end of the photographs. Can you spot your examples? Look for your initials and show them to someone at home.<\/p>\n
