Hi everyone<\/p>\n

The pupils at Bishopton Primary have really been enjoying science week so far. Some classes have had visitors and have really enjoyed learning about the different careers in STEM.<\/p>\n

As part of their inheritance learning, Primary 7 genetically engineered a new species called Reebops. They combined genes to create offspring with inherited characteristics.<\/p>\n

Primary 1 have been doing lots of science through their play. They have been creating boats using different materials to find out which materials floated and sank. They have also been creating helicopters and discussing gravity.<\/p>\n

Primary 6 have been learning about energy efficiency and today began to design their very own energy efficient homes.<\/p>\n

Primary 2 and 6 have also been working on their special cars engineering project. Well done everyone!<\/p>\n

We have been getting ready for our science afternoon on Friday and we are really looking forward to all the exciting activities. I have attached some photographs of the week so far.<\/p>\n
