We are delighted to announce that our Primary 7 Young STEM Leaders have organised a competition as part of National STEM Day.<\/p>\n

National STEM Day is an opportunity to celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. It can also help promote skills for learning, life and work.<\/p>\n

We are proud to promote sustainability, especially during COP 26, so this will play a role in the competition.<\/p>\n

Challenge:<\/td>\nCreate a car which is sustainable using every day household items. Can you use a renewable source?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Time:<\/td>\nMonday 8th<\/sup> November \u2013 Tue 30th<\/sup> November<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Who:<\/td>\nComplete this task with your family. Get everyone involved to help you win house points. Will it be the Eagles, Falcons, Hawks or Ospreys?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Why:<\/td>\nThe task will help develop Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths skills.
\nIt is great to work with our families.
\nIt is great to win points and prizes for our houses.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
How to enter:<\/td>\nCreate your own model car using a renewable source and then post a picture\/video on your class team or ask an adult to tweet the school.
