As we celebrate World Book Day we are delighted to launch our new Accelerated Reader resource. This resources is designed to increase reading engagement within the school and we have invested in a wide\u00a0range of new book titles. The books were chosen by a group of our pupils based on information collected from their peers.<\/p>\n
Below is a link to a booklet that explains the system in more detail. Look out for a physical copy in your child’s bag in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
Initially we will be starting with pupils in primaries 4-7. However as we become more familiar with the system and extend our range of books, pupils in the infant stages will also have access.<\/p>\n
We hope that you will support your child in this by asking about the books they are reading and perhaps taking some time to discuss the books.<\/p>\n
