Just a reminder that we start our Sponsored Readathon tomorrow, February 19th.\u00a0 Please encourage your child to read as many books as possible and help us raise as much money as we can to buy non -fiction books and resources for all classes.\u00a0 All of the books read can be added to their First Minister’s Reading Challenge Passport.\u00a0 If your child has completed theirs or needs a new one, we have plenty extra in school – let their teacher know.<\/p>\n
The Readathon culminates in World Book Day on March 1st.\u00a0 Children can bring in their sponsor money in an envelope with their name and class clearly stated.\u00a0 \u00a0 All children are asked to dress as their favourite book character or to wear pyjamas\/onesies on the day.\u00a0 There are lots of costume ideas on the World Book Day website!\u00a0 Please remember that the Readathon can be completed as a family.<\/p>\n
