Good\u00a0afternoon\u00a0everyone I hope you are enjoying your long weekend and are ready to come back to school on Tuesday<\/strong>.\u00a0 Please\u00a0continue reading for your homework and reminders.<\/p>\n

Spelling<\/strong>: Due to the short week please complete\u00a0lists v,ves, <\/strong>or\u00a0u-e, <\/strong>in your spelling homework jotter for\u00a0Thursday<\/strong>. Please write out your spelling words 3 times using SaCaWaC in the same way as we do in class. Remember that part of this process is to check and correct<\/strong> your spelling words. Any corrections you have from last week should be completed as part of this week\u2019s homework.<\/p>\n

Personal Reading Challenge<\/strong>: Your Personal Reading Challenge continues, there are now\u00a0only\u00a04 weeks left\u00a0to reach\u00a0\u00a0the target you set\u00a0yourselves this term\u00a0. Please remember to bring your book to school as this will allow you to read it during ERIC time. Remember to keep recording the books you have\u00a0completed this term\u00a0in your Reading Passport.<\/p>\n

Personal Project:\u00a0 <\/strong>I hope you have now decided on what aspect of the Titanic you will include in your personal project.\u00a0 You now have 3 weeks<\/strong> to complete your project as you will presenting it to your class mates on\u00a0Thursday 15th\u00a0June<\/strong>.\u00a0The criteria and task sheet for this task can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here are your reminders for this week:<\/p>\n

  1. P.E. will be on Tuesday<\/strong> and Thursday <\/strong>this week. Please ensure you have a full kit in class and remember to bring a water bottle with you as you will be working hard and you need to stay hydrated. We may take our P.E. outside on Thursday (if the weather stays nice) so please ensure you have suitable outdoor clothing with you.<\/li>\n
  2. Trip money and consent forms should be returned to school as soon as possible.<\/li>\n
  3. We are still looking for\u00a0one\u00a0<\/strong>parent helper to come with us on our trip to the Tall Ship on Tuesday 6th June<\/strong>. If someone at home is able to help, please leave a post\u00a0on the blog or bring a note to school in your diary.<\/li>\n
  4. Please remember to bring any empty, clean 2l bottles you may have for our Titanic science task (scheduled for\u00a0week beginning\u00a0\u00a05th June).\u00a0\u00a0Each group will\u00a0need 3 clean, plastic bottles so please\u00a0discuss this with your group members.<\/li>\n
  5. We are hosting the Community Caf\u00e9 this Wednesday 31st May. <\/strong>We are still looking for\u00a0adults (4) to help us and also for guests to come and visit. Please find\u00a0details about both of these\u00a0using these links –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Helpers<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Guests<\/a><\/li>\n
  6. P5S will continue to hold their Fairtrade Tuck-shop every\u00a0Wednesday<\/strong>. If you\u00a0are wanting\u00a0to buy something, please remember to bring the exact<\/strong>\u00a0money to school if possible.\u00a0You can find the item prices here<\/a><\/li>\n
  7. We will be visiting the library on Thursday 9th June <\/strong>and we will need 2 parent helpers to come along. If any one at home is available please could you let me know by putting a note in your diary.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
