Last week we started our new Topic, The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch. \u00a0We read the story as a class. \u00a0 We then each got an opportunity to say what we know about the subject of the book and what we would like to learn. \u00a0We came up with lots of interesting questions. \u00a0For example – Why is a Lighthouse stripey? \u00a0What happens during the day in a Lighthouse? \u00a0What creatures live under the water near the shore? \u00a0and many more… \u00a0We will try and answer these questions as we progress through the topic. \u00a0 \u00a0This week we will be creating our classroom display of the story and characters within the story.<\/p>\n

Spelling new sound – or. \u00a0Monday – write out words twice. \u00a0Tuesday – write out 3 sentences. \u00a0Wednesday – find 3 new words with this sound. \u00a0Thursday – practise for quiz. \u00a0New reading book this week and comprehension to be completed by Friday. \u00a0Maths this week will be revising tally marks.<\/p>\n
