A simple sentence puts across one idea. <strong>The owl hooted.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Compound sentences<\/strong> contain two or more pieces of information and the pieces are linked by a connectives. <strong>The owl hooted then flew away.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A <strong>complex sentence<\/strong> puts across more detailed ideas.
