Good\u00a0afternoon\u00a0everyone, I hope you are having a lovely weekend after yet another busy week.\u00a0Please\u00a0continue reading for your homework and reminders.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Spelling<\/strong>: Please complete\u00a0lists\u00a0ear<\/strong>, eer, ere\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0or\u00a0or\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0in your spelling homework jotter for\u00a0Thursday<\/strong>. Please continue to write out your spelling words 3 times using SaCaWaC in the same way as we do in class. You should then write a sentence for each of your first 6 spelling words. Once again I will be assessing your use of connectives,\u00a0however I will also be looking for more fabulous vocabulary too as we have learned a number of new words through our novel study – Danny the Champion of the World.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Reading<\/b>: We are coming to the end of our novel study \u2013 Danny the Champion of the World. Please remember if you do not complete the reading you will be unable to take part in the class lesson. Your homework\u00a0for this week is\u00a0to \u00a0read the last two chapters,\u00a021<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a022 <\/b>for\u00a0Tuesday<\/strong> 21st March.<\/b><\/p>\n

As always if there are any words\u00a0that you\u00a0are unsure of please take a note of them in your Book Detectives jotter (remembering the page number)\u00a0and, if possible, use a dictionary to find\u00a0out their meaning\u00a0. We\u00a0will start our lesson by discussing\u00a0these in class.<\/p>\n

Personal Reading Challenge<\/strong>: You now only have\u00a03\u00a0weeks to go with your personal reading challenge. You have all set yourself a target which you are aiming to reach (or beat!) by the end of the challenge. Please remember to record the books you have read in your Reading Passport which are kept in class.\u00a0Remember to choose your books carefully to ensure they are at the correct level for you \u2013 not too easy or too hard.\u00a0 You all chose a library book when we visited Bishopton Library on Tuesday, you can bring this into school as this will allow you to read it during our ERIC time and counts as part of your reading challenge.<\/p>\n

Maths:\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Mrs. O’Neill has posted another set of worded problems on your maths homework blog.\u00a0 Please complete\u00a0these in \u00a0your maths homework jotter. As always, please read each question carefully. You should ensure you are showing workings AND\u00a0giving a full sentence answer. This homework is due for Thursday 16th March<\/strong>. <\/b><\/p>\n

A high standard of work is being produced from\u00a0the majority\u00a0of you. Well done, keep it up!<\/p>\n
