Good\u00a0morning everyone!\u00a0I hope you are having a lovely weekend. Here is a rundown of your homework and reminders for this week.<\/p>\n

Spelling: <\/strong>\u00a0Units 27 and 34 should be completed for Friday.\u00a0<\/strong>As always, each word should be written out three times and an uplevelled sentence should be written for each spelling rule word. Please remember to consider your VCOP in each sentence. This week we will be focusing on using more ambitious vocabulary<\/strong> in each sentence.<\/p>\n Reading: \u00a0<\/strong>Over the next couple of days\u00a0you will be choosing a new core\u00a0reader to read at home. Your chosen book\u00a0should be completed for\u00a0Thursday 2nd March<\/strong>. There will be no written homework for this as all tasks will be completed in class. As always, if there is any vocabulary you are unsure of, please take a note of it and we will discuss it in class on Thursday.<\/p>\n Personal Reading Challenge<\/strong>: We now have 6\u00a0weeks of reading left. You have set yourself a personal target based on the number of books read last term and the aim is to reach it (or beat it!) before the end of term.\u00a0Please remember to bring your book to school as this will allow you to read it during our ERIC sessions.<\/p>\n Please remember to record the books in your reading passport as you finish them. The passport is kept in class.<\/p>\n Listening & Talking<\/strong>: This term you have a solo presentation to complete. You now have\u00a01 week\u00a0<\/strong>to plan, organise and prepare your presentation as you will be presenting in class on Tuesday 28th February<\/strong>. If you require a paper copy of the task sheet, please ask.<\/p>\n Please remember that if you need to email me a PowerPoint or any photographs you wish to use in your presentation, you should do so by\u00a0Friday\u00a0<\/strong>as this will allow me time to check for any issues before Tuesday.<\/p>\n Maths:\u00a0<\/strong>Please complete the word problems for your group by\u00a0Friday<\/strong>.
