Spelling: \u00a0<\/strong>As discussed\u00a0last week there will be no spelling homework this week as we will be retaking our “big” spelling test. This will give you some extra time to work on your\u00a0Personal Reading Challenge at home.<\/p>\n Reading: \u00a0<\/strong>Please read chapters 7\u00a0and 8\u00a0of our class novel: The Borrowers. There is no written homework to be completed for this as it will be done in class. However,\u00a0please remember if you do not complete the reading you will be unable to participate in the class lesson. All reading should be completed for\u00a0Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n As discussed in class, if you come across any vocabulary that you are unsure of the definition, please use a dictionary to find this out. You may also take a note of it in your Book Detectives jotter (remember to take a note of the page number) and we can discuss it in class.<\/p>\n Personal Reading Challenge<\/strong>: We now have 10 weeks of reading left. You have set yourself a personal target based on the number of books read last term and the aim is to reach it (or beat it!) before the end of term.\u00a0Please remember to bring your book to school as this will allow you to read it during our ERIC sessions.<\/p>\n Please remember to record the books in your reading passport as you finish them. The passport is kept in class.<\/p>\n Maths: <\/strong>Please click the link below for your maths homework. This task should be completed in your maths homework jotter. \u00a0Please remember Mrs Hughes has organised your questions this week therefore the post will state homework is due for Thursday.
