Relationships Policy<\/p>\n

Our current Relationships policy which was updated in June 2025.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We consulted with parents, pupils and staff to update our Relationships policy which includes our approach to bullying.<\/p>\n

Positive Relationships Policy – August 2025<\/a><\/p>\n

“Renfrewshire Council Children’s Services Anti- bullying Policy” is the authority\u2019s policy on preventing and dealing with bullying. The policy stresses the importance of involving the whole school community – pupils, parents and all the staff in the school.<\/p>\n

You can view the\u00a0 policy by asking the school office for a copy of the document or by accessing the policy online at www.renfrewshire.gov.uk.<\/p>\n

In Bargarran Primary, we work hard to create a positive ethos and bullying in any form is unacceptable. The school works hard to promote and endorse this through our Rights Respecting School approach and\u00a0 a programme of Personal and Social Development which seeks to raise pupils self esteem, to encourage them to value themselves and to have consideration for others.<\/p>\n

The Depute Head Teachers are the co-ordinators for our Relationship policy.\u00a0 If you have concerns\u00a0 about bullying, please contact the school as the sooner we know about these concerns, the sooner we can parents act upon it. Pupils should speak to the member of management who has pastoral care responsibility.\u00a0 Mrs Thompson and Ms Kennedy for P1-P4 and Mr Lyle for P5-7.<\/p>\n
