Bargarran Primary School actively encourages our children to have a say in the development of the school. This is achieved through the following;
Pupil Council
Our Pupil Council is formed from P.4 to P.7 pupils.
The Pupil Council works with the Head Teacher to take forward the results of the most recent Pupil Survey.
The Pupil Council uses the results of the survey to produce an Action Plan and work on making the changes included in the plan.
The Pupil Council monitors the implementation and success of the Action Plan.

Pupil Parliaments
All children in the school are a member of one of our eight Pupil Parliaments that lead an aspect of the school’s work.
The focus of the parliaments were chosen by the children.
This session our eight parliaments are: Eco, Events, Fairtrade, Garden, Rights Respecting School, School Playground, Sports and Technologies.
Each parliament has four leadership roles: First Minister, Depute First Minister, Speaker and First Officer.
Our parliaments meet every three weeks and are supported by a member of staff.
