Good morning Primary 3.  As I’m missing your little faces, I thought you might be missing mine so I’ve added a picture of me about to chat with my friends on Houseparty at the weekend!
I hope you all had a lovely long weekend 🙂  This week we will be putting learning tasks and activities on our P3 Teams page. The link below  explains how to access the page if you haven’t already then how to find the tasks and send photographs of your work back to me.
You will find 3 literacy tasks and 3 numeracy tasks as well as an art activity and a daily challenge sheet.    It will take us a while to get used to working this way so please don’t worry. I will be about to answer any questions on the Teams page however I won’t be at the laptop all day and I may be on the phone or answering emails  so please give me time to get back to you.
This is a link to some instructions for using Glow and Microsoft Teams. It is a way for you to complete assignments and send them to me online.  We hope to start using this very soon. Accessing glow and teams P3
The sun is shining again which is great for our daily exercise and to take your learning outside.  Please remember to take photographs. Have a great day!

If you haven’t done it already, how about making a picture for our whole school challenge for Erskine  Home and Little Inch Care Home.  Those already submitted will be displayed on the school page before sending on.

Extra Reading Materials

Oxford Owl have lots of free ebooks you can read online including some Biff, Chip and Kipper stories.  There are also reading activities you can download as well. You can register for free here:

Remember once you have read a book, discuss the Three Sharings like we do in school. These are your likes and dislikes, connections to the story and any puzzles you may have thought of.

Please continue to refer to the guidance outlined on the app and below for Primary 3 learning during school closure and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you require further activities or worksheets.   A blank timetable has been attached to the school app message this week to help you plan out your learning for the week.  A good way to start the day is to take part in PE with Joe Wicks. He certainly wakens you up!

Remember our weekly Sumdog competition as part of your maths learning.    We have also introduced a spelling competition too!
