School Aims

Bargarran Primary School aims to equip its pupils with the knowledge, skills and attributes that will enable them to be active and responsible citizens of the 21st century.

To help us achieve this we will

  1. ensure that all our pupils realise their full potential and become confident individuals, responsible citizens, effective contributors and successful learners.

  2. provide a diverse curriculum consistent with National and Local Authority guidelines and based on the principles of a Curriculum for Excellence.

  3. provide a range of teaching and learning activities which will reflect the different needs and achievements of individual pupils.

  4. create a happy, safe and secure environment in which all are valued and all can enjoy learning.

  5. work together with all members of our community to create a sense of identity and pride in our school.

  6. manage resources effectively to support quality learning and teaching.

  7. establish a team which leads and manages the school effectively, providing support and guidance to all involved in the schools success.
