The first event of our reporting calendar was held on Thursday 1st September. A large number of parents and carers took up the opportunity to visit their child’s new classroom and have an informal discussion with the teacher.
The next event on our reporting calendar is the Primary 5 and Primary 6’s Rights Respecting Assembly on Tuesday 20th September. All parents of children in both classes are invited to attend the assembly, starting and 11.15 a.m. , and the following the assembly visit the children’s classroom.
The first formal parents evening of the session is on Wednesday 12th October.
At the start of every new session each of our classes elect a representative to be part of our pupil council.
The pupil council put forward ideas of activities they would like to take place in the school.
During session 2014 – 15 our Pupil Council wanted to organise a whole school talent show. ‘Bargarran’s Got Talent’ took place in May 2014 and raised money for the charity ERSKINE.
During session 2015 – 16 our Pupil Council wanted to organise a lunchtime games club in the school. The council worked with Miss Munro and during the final term the games club took place.
The school blog is used to keep parents and carers up to date with important information relating to the school.
