A big thank you to the Parent Council for organising this fantastic day today. It was extremely well attended and supported by children, parents and friends of Arkleston Primary School. What a great way to start our Anniversary celebration!

The sun shone down on us the other day, long enough for the whole school to take up their positions for our photograph.  The photograph marks the school’s 40th Year and marks the beginning of our celebrations. We look forward to seeing the final product.

Well done to everyone in Primary 7 and 7/6 for a truly inspiring assembly this morning. You should be very proud of yourselves, we are extremely proud of you. A big thank you to all of our guests for coming along – hopefully you felt inspired too. We would also like to thank Mrs Mitchell for playing the piano for us and Mr Hawthorne and Mr Payne for their input both prior to and during our assembly. Well done everyone! Mrs Thomson
