Children in Need
After a superb week of activities led by the S6, the school managed to raise £2101.06. Well done.
ShoeBox Appeal
We are looking for donations for the Shoebox Appeal, you can fill an entire shoebox for a family or donate individual items. Donations can be handed into Mrs Smith or Mrs Moffat in the Computing and Business Education Department until the end of October.
A list of acceptable items is attached. ACCEPTABLE ITEMS LEAFLET Please be as generous as you can in supporting this most worthwhile venture.
Challenge Nepal Cake Bake
Gary, Ross and Chris take up the baton for this Friday (12th October). A little slice of baked goodness to see you into the October holiday week.

Ashley, Morgan and Katie H will be providing some delicious home baking on Friday 5th October on behalf of team Nepal. Catch their tasty wares on sale in the main entry at break time and lunch – if supplies hold out.
S1 Parents Evening
The S1 parents information evening takes place on Tuesday 9th October from 4.30 pm until 7 pm. All S1 pupils have been issued with an appointment sheet and should be well into the process of acquiring a slot from each of their subject teachers.
Parents will be issued with a school map on Tuesday, and senior pupils will be on hand to help you find your way around the school as required.
World Challenge Training Weekend
The World Challenge team undertook their training expedition in Aviemore on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October in Aviemore.
Just like Nepal? Not quite, but a good chance for some team bonding and a wealth of trekking advice from Cecil.
At the end of the day, the team were buzzing.
