S2 pupil links with world famous DJ
Congratulations go to Morgan Spence of S2 who has created a video for top music producer and DJ Paul Oakenfold. Morgan was asked to create a video for the music supremo after his work with lego and animation received acclaim on Youtube.

S2 pupil selected for national squad
Congratulations go to Dominik Wylie of S2 who has been selected to represent Scotland in the national windsurfing squad. Well done. In addition Dominik has earned valuable house points for Skye House.
S1 History, Geography and Modern Studies.
All S1 pupils should be finishing class work and revising for assessments in their current social subject next week.
Comic Relief
After a week of wacky activities which included ‘Take Me Out’, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, assorted PE activities, a bake-off and a non uniform day the school raised a total of £1542.53.
Intermediate 2 History
The extended response which is worth 28.5% of the fianl mark will be sat on Thursday 21st. It is important a lot of work at home goes into this.
Higher History
Reminder that all higher history students should be preparing hard for the extended essay on Thursday/Friday next week. This is worth 30% of their final grade.

This week assessment will be completed/handed in for the three social subjects. It is important all work is completed and the revision/preparation takes place.
Parent Focus Group
The next meeting of the parent focus group is on Monday 4th March at 7pm. The meeting will be held in the school’s meeting room.
