As Mrs Hollywood points in the most recent bulletin, some have only 25 school days left before completing their school career, but hopefully not their education, which continues for life.
Mrs Hollywood also mentions the steps being taken to transform the school entrance. We hope you noticed? Also find out how girls and boys from Johnstone High have excelled in recent sporting events. Well done to all those who take part and if any are interested, there is the possibility of volleyball taking off for the younger groups. Mr Rankine has something to say about the wonderful world of engineering and there are important notices about our school show Annie! – Fame and it starts here!
The new Parent Council minutes are out. Catch them all at Parent Council News in our News section.
If you are pupil, discover the steps being taken on your behalf. Don’t forget you can get your ideas presented through the Pupil Voice Councils.
If you are a parent, discover if you share opinions with how things should improve with other like minded parents.
Another episode in the busy life of Johnstone High School. Last week was exceptionally busy, what with World Book day and the breaking of World Records. Thursday this week is S3’s Parent’s Evening, so make sure you get your appointments in early.
We also need your help. As part of our regular review process we are looking at the School Values and we want to know what you think, so read on …

On Thursday 20th June, S3 pupils took part in a survival challenge ‘I’m a Johnstone High School pupil, Get me Outta Here’. Pupils were put through their paces by completing different survival tasks to help them gain skills in learning, life and work.
