Someone chose a famous character and the rest of the class would try to guess the character described\u00a0 using a set of metaphors. It was great fun for a rainy Tuesday morning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00\">Afterwards we all chose someone who we have strong feelings for. Some of us chose our pets, some of us chose friends while others a grandparent, movie character or even a special soft toy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00\">These poems are full of evocative metaphors and similes.
