<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our school uses Accelerated Reader from Primary 3 to Primary 7.<\/p>\n Accelerated Reader is a digital program that helps our P3-P7 learners and teachers manage and monitor independent reading practice.<\/p>\n Students pick a book at their own level and read it at their own pace. Each class reads for 20 minutes a day.\u00a0 When learners finish the book, they take a short quiz on the computer to check their understanding.\u00a0 \u00a0The program allows for them to engage in differentiated learning and track their own progress throughout the year.\u00a0 Vocabulary, fluency and understanding is improved.<\/p>\n As learners read and take quizzes, they earn points and track their progress toward their individualised Accelerated Reader goals.
