\na snake so strong that when you see it you freeze in terror.
\nto slither away when my name is mentioned in conversations.<\/p>\n
I want to be a snake,
\nnot judged for the mistakes I made
\nbut rather admired for the things I do correctly.<\/p>\n
I want to be a snake,
\nfor people to listen to my opinions with a simple hiss.
\na snake, who knows what they like.<\/p>\n
I want to be a snake,
\nto not be insecure of the way I feel or look.
\nfor people to leave me alone when I\u2019m gloomy or mad or even in general.<\/p>\n
For the world to stop even for a second,
\nto not look at myself and want to be someone else<\/p>\n
Snakes don\u2019t hate themselves, they don\u2019t want to stay alone, afraid of what people think of them.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t come looking for me, with your evil snake tongs
\nDon\u2019t take me from the freedom of the wilderness and lock me in your little closet.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m not free yet but I hope I will be soon.<\/p>\n
I guess I\u2019m sort of like a snake, there\u2019s a lot of snakes I\u2019m afraid won\u2019t support me, but 1 I know does,<\/p>\n
Although I don\u2019t show it, I appreciate that snake.
