Why do people harm the planet?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Drop their rubbish even though there\u2019s a bin next to them?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Why can’t people listen?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a polar bear; I mean the polar bear who is trying to find food for her young.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is holding on desperately to the smallest of ice.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Who loses grip as the thin ice breaks underneath her, unable to hold her weight.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now she swims ashore, slowly pulling herself up onto the ice with care.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now her young are awake, peeking over at their mother.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now she walks towards them, her walk slowed, and she looks ashamed.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know how to get everyone to help.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I do know if we all work together, we can make change.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tell me, would you take part in saving our planet?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
