Joyful Donkey

The best version of me is Joyful, calm, and exited, she watches sunsets and travels too lands far away,

The soft, yellow light glowing from the comfortable, old houses, including mine,

The best version of me is creating, designing and making. Selling dresses and exploring the wild with my joyful donkey,

The best version of me is playing with the village children and having good reliable friends,

The version of me now. When I look in the mirror I see a kind girl. A girl who in the morning gets out of bed, turns of her alarm and goes straight back to bed,

That is me.

Rhona, your poem is amazing. The Donkey picture is cute and this line is great. ”exploring the wild with my joyful donkey”. Your poem creates a vivid picture.

Hi Rhona, I really like the line when you said ” When I look in the mirror I see a kind girl.” This line is so like you! Great poem.
