A Bird That’ll Fly Far

  I want to be a bird.
Not a big bird, not small
but just right.

I want to be a bird,
and fly away and feel free.

I want to travel the world
with my own set of wings.

Don‘t say I can’t fly there
for I will fly far,
to the peak of a mountain or over a lake.

Don‘t say a bird is ugly,
because a bird’s feathers
blossom like flowers
every feather unique.

I’m going to be a bird,
and you will envy my flying.
