I want to be a stranger to everyone,
A person in the back,
someone who walks past you
in complete silence.
So if I run away no one will notice,
if I trip no one shows pity.
So I can continue being in the background
showing no tears or emotion
And ignore the voices that call me an idiot
or an immature, attention seeking brat.
I will continue walking silently.
I refuse to listen to you
self-obsessed, a rude nobody
with too much self-esteem.
If I make one single mistake, they stare.
I’m going silent,
I refuse to attract attention
and you won’t remember me…
