Good In Every Heart 

I believe that the earth
was not created for us humans
to come and pollute it, 
and if it was us humans 
who started climate change 
it should be us who end it. 
 
I believe that stars 
are just people 
that have died, staring over us 
each one wondering 
what we are doing in the world. 
 
I believe that my dog can understand me, 
talking English but will never care 
to respond, 
and mostly just ignores me. 
 
I believe that you 
can do anything 
you want, even though 
you might tell yourself you cannot, 
like training your dog to respond 
or fixing the worldwide problem 
of climate change, 
it will just take time, effort 
and hard work. 
 
I believe that in every soul 
there is happiness 
even if it is buried down, 
deep inside your soul, 
but some people just choose 
not to show it 
and hide it deep down inside. 
 
I believe that in ever heart 
there is good.
