Celery’s Leafy Taste

What I love about my dogs is they’re always there if I need a hug.

What I hate about celery is its leafy taste.

What I love about family is that I feel like I can tell them anything.

What I hate about tomatoes is their weird taste and they’re hard to cut.

What I love about horses is their strength and all the different coats and coat colours.

What I hate about going shopping with my sister is how long she takes to pick things.

What I love about buying new clothes is the excitement to wear them.

What I hate about life is everything must come to an end.

What I love about toast is that you can put lots of different things on it.

What I hate about storms is the loud bangs of thunder keeping me awake at night.

What I love about Spain is the sunshine.

What I hate about their cat is that it bit me.

What I love about colours is their emotion.

What I hate about sadness is the endless overthinking.

Great work Grace, your poem has lots of you and is really well written. It is so true what you said about tomatoes!
