A Flower Left to Decay

I want to be a flower, a sunflower in someone’s garden where I get watered every. Not a flower left to decay.

I want to finally have peace, and not crumpled up by someone’s footsteps.

I want to be the flower that gets the perfect amount of sun and water, not a flower with no attention, left all alone, depressed.

Don’t tell me what to do or tell me to walk to school. Flowers can’t walk.

Don’t tell me to do my schoolwork, tidy my room, or put plates away.

Don’t get mad at me when you tell me to do something, I won’t do it.

I want to be a flower and you will help me grow.
