The Math Test

A girl woken up by the sound of her mum calling her in the morning, she put that on the table.

A girl rummaging through her pile of clothes on the floor trying to find her school clothes, she put that there too.

She opened the squeaky cupboard and got her packed lunch out, she dumped that on the table.

She put her dry toast on a small pink plastic plate and sat that on the table too.

The girl as tired as can be poured herself a fresh glass of orange juice, she placed that on the table.

As the girl put her muddy shoes on from yesterdays walk through the woods her thoughts of her math test later on that day, she threw that on the table as if it was a tennis ball getting hit by a racket.

The girl bored of math tests came home, a candle lit on the table made her feel better, she sat that on the table.

As the girl put the flowers that she bought for her mum in a vase she got this feeling that she had never felt before it was like the sweetness of a sour apple, she placed that on the table very carefully.

Although the pile stopped growing her heart never did.
