Primary 1 have been very busy exploring outdoors, this has included learning about Shanarri and how to be safe!  This term, we have focussed on safety in school, playground, water and how to cross the road safely.  We have also taken our language and maths activities outdoors to create sounds and numbers.  This was linked to our book study on ‘Mouse’s First Night at Moonlight School’, whereby the boys and girls went on a number trail and worked co-operatively to create a 0-10 number line similar to the one in Miss Moon’s classroom!

In P1, the children have been working really hard to help the Friendly Dragon save Fairy Tale Land.  Last week, the Prince found Cinderella and her glass slipper after the children created ‘Wanted’ posters.  For their homework, the children have been asked to complete chores at home (just like Cinderella!).  We look forward to the children bringing in photos, on Monday 29th February, of them taking part in their chores.
