Welcome to the Madderty Parent Council

The Parent Council (PC) is a group of parents and carers that represents all of the parents/carers of the children at Madderty Primary School.

Purpose:

The main purpose of the PC is to be a regular link between the school and parents, working in partnership to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all.

To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils.

In recent years we have:

Helped organise and fund the multipurpose path around the playground
Organised the after school activity club
Bought multiple books and learning resources
Assisted with funding of trips

Why?

The PC wants to make the most of the school for our children and parents.

How?

We have semi regular meetings (approx. 1 per term) to talk about ways we can add benefit to the learning experience; of course, much of what we do requires fund raising.
